GCSE Maths tuition and exam entry
GCSE Maths is the qualification employers and colleges ask about first. Small groups and one-to-one both run at our Birmingham centres and live online, and as a JCQ-approved centre we also enter private candidates for the exam itself, on AQA, Edexcel or OCR, Foundation or Higher.
Marks live in method, so method is what we drill
Every GCSE Maths lesson runs on past-paper questions from your child’s own board and tier. Content first, then timed practice, then the mark scheme applied line by line, so working earns every method mark available.

Sitting the exam as a private candidate?
You do not need to study with us to sit GCSE Maths here. Entry is £250 at Birmingham, £300 in London and £275 in Manchester, including the board fee, invigilation and your seat. November and summer series both run.

GCSE Maths questions, answered straight
Can I resit GCSE Maths in November?
Yes. GCSE Maths runs in the November series for resit candidates, and entries for November 2026 close on 1 October 2026. Everyone else sits in May and June.
Foundation or Higher, which should we enter?
Foundation caps the grade at 5 but makes 4 and 5 much more secure; Higher opens grades up to 9. We advise after a diagnostic, and the free assessment settles it with evidence rather than guesswork.
Do adults retake GCSE Maths with you?
Constantly. Maths is the most retaken GCSE we host, and a large share of those candidates are adults heading for nursing, teaching or an apprenticeship. See our resits page.
Which maths tier is on the booking form?
Both. The registration form lists Foundation (8300F) and Higher (8300H) separately along with Edexcel and OCR equivalents, so you enter exactly the specification you need.
