A-level Maths is a method exam, so lessons run on the papers your board actually sets. Pure, mechanics and statistics are taught in your specification’s order, then drilled through timed past-paper sections with the mark scheme applied line by line, so your working earns every mark it should.

You do not need to study with us to sit A-level Maths here. Entry is £400 a subject at Birmingham, AS entries £350, with more at our other centres, see the fees page. Entries for the May/June 2027 series close on 1 February 2027.

How much does A-level Maths tuition cost in Birmingham?
A-level Maths tuition costs £25 an hour in a small group as a single subject, £200 a month at two hours a week. It drops to £17.50 an hour across three subjects and £12.50 an hour on the full programme, and one-to-one is £50 an hour.
Do you teach Further Maths?
Yes, we teach A-level Further Maths on AQA 7367 and Edexcel 9FM0, usually alongside Maths for our strongest mathematicians, and both subjects can be sat here as private candidate entries.

Which exam board should I choose for A-level Maths?
If you are already partway through the course, stay with your current board; the content is near identical across AQA 7357, Edexcel 9MA0 and OCR H240, and only the question style differs.
