Our homeschooling GCSE course gives Year 10 and 11 students a complete live timetable: 48 taught hours a month across English Language, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics for £600 a month, further subjects at £150 a month each, and a guaranteed exam seat at our own JCQ-approved centres in Birmingham, London and Manchester.
A school-shaped week, without the school
This is not a stack of workbooks and good intentions. It is a fixed weekly timetable of live lessons with specialist tutors, in centre or online nationwide, taught straight towards the specifications your child will actually sit.

Records that satisfy, seats that exist
Under the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act, home-educating families in England now register with their local authority and show how education happens. Our pathway produces that evidence as a by-product of doing the work: a written timetable, marked work, assessment results and termly reports. Then the part most providers cannot promise: the exam itself. Students on the pathway get a guaranteed seat at our own exam centres. Entry at Birmingham is £250 a subject for GCSE Maths, English Language and the single sciences, and £300 for English Literature, History, Geography and most other GCSEs, with GCSE French and Spanish at £450. Deadlines to know: entries for the November 2026 resit series close on 1 October 2026, and May/June 2027 entries close on 1 February 2027. All dates live on the exam dates page.

How much do homeschooling GCSE courses cost at A-Team Academy?
The core Years 10 to 11 programme costs £600 a month for 48 taught hours across English Language, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, which works out at £12.50 an hour. Do the courses meet the 2026 home education registration rules?
Yes. Every student on the pathway has a written timetable, marked work, half-termly assessment results and termly parent reports, which is precisely the evidence of structured education local authorities look for under the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act. Where does my child actually sit their GCSE exams?
At our own JCQ-approved exam centres in Birmingham, London or Manchester, with a seat guaranteed for every student on the pathway.
