GCSE entries
GCSE Maths, English Language and the single sciences are £275 each at Manchester. English Literature, History, Geography and most other GCSEs are £330, and GCSE French or Spanish is £495. Every fee includes the board fee, invigilation and your seat.

Every listed A-level is £440 at Waterloo Road, whether that’s Edexcel 9MA0 Maths, AQA 7402 Biology, 7405 Chemistry, 7408 Physics or 7182 Psychology. AS papers and resits run in the same halls on the same national dates.

When do exam entries close at Manchester?
Entries for the November 2026 series close on 1 October 2026, and entries for May/June 2027 close on 1 February 2027. Late entries after those dates attract board surcharges, so book early.
