Results and certificates for private candidates
Private candidates at A-Team Academy can access their Exam Results & Certificates with clear guidance on results day, certificate collection, reviews of marking, and post-results services. We email your statement of results on the morning of release, certificates arrive at your centre from the awarding bodies in the autumn, and reviews of marking, appeals and priority services for UCAS all run under JCQ rules.
How your results reach you
On the morning of release we email every candidate their statement of results, the official document showing each subject, specification and grade. You can also collect it in person from the centre where you sat, or ask for it by post. For security we never read grades out over the phone.

Holding a university offer?
A-level candidates whose place depends on a grade can ask for a priority review of marking. We submit it to the board straight away, flagged as priority, so the outcome lands while universities are still confirming places. The board refunds the fee if your grade changes.

Not the grade you needed?
Every post-results service runs under the JCQ framework and we submit them all on your behalf. Fees are the awarding body’s own, passed on at cost, and the board refunds the fee whenever a review changes your grade. One honest warning applies to all of them: grades can go down as well as up.

When do private candidates get GCSE results?
Private candidates get GCSE results on the national results day in August, exactly the same day as school candidates, and November series results arrive in January. We email your statement of results on the morning of release and you can also collect it from your centre.
How do I get a remark of my exam?
Ask us to submit a review of marking to the awarding body before its post-results deadline, which falls a few weeks after results day. The fee is the board’s own, passed on at cost, and it is refunded if your grade changes. Remember that grades can go down as well as up.
When can I collect my certificates?
Certificates for the summer series usually reach your centre in the autumn, and we contact you the moment they arrive. Bring photo ID to collect them, or ask us to post them by tracked delivery. We hold certificates for at least 12 months.
Can you send my results to UCAS or my university?
Yes, A-level results pass to UCAS automatically provided the personal details on your entry match your UCAS application, so tell us you are applying when you register and we double-check the match. If a university wants extra evidence we can supply a certifying statement of your results.
