A-Team Academy enters resit candidates for GCSE, IGCSE and A-level exams at our Birmingham HQ at 2341 Coventry Road, across our London centres and in Manchester. GCSE Maths and English Language resit entry is £250 a subject at Birmingham, more at our other centres (see the fees page), and entries for the November 2026 series close on 1 October 2026. More people resit than you'd guess, and grades really do change: give yourself a fair shot, with tuition on hand if you want it.

Resit questions, answered straight
Can I resit GCSE English and maths in November?
Yes, GCSE English Language and maths both run in the November 2026 series, and entries close on 1 October 2026. A range of IGCSE subjects also offer November resits; everything else runs in May and June.
How much does a resit cost?
Resit entry is £250 a subject for GCSE maths and English Language at our Birmingham HQ, £350 for AS and £400 for a full A-level, with every centre's table published; see the tables on our fees page. Your entry covers the board fee, invigilation and your seat.
Do adults retake GCSEs with you?
Yes, many of our resit candidates are adults returning for a career change, a university access route or an apprenticeship. Our retake guide has a section written for adult learners.
Do I need to be at a school to resit?
No, you register with us directly as a private candidate and never need a school. We enter you with the exam board, host your papers in a JCQ-compliant hall and handle your results and certificates.
