One room, one tutor, and a simple idea about education
A-Team Academy began in 2015 with a single tutor and a handful of students in one room. Today we are a JCQ-approved exam centre and tutoring academy teaching more than 1,000 students a year across Birmingham, Manchester, London and online. The idea has never changed: education should open doors for everyone.

A-Team's philosophy has always been to take on the most ardent tutors, the ones who inspire young people to build their skills and their confidence. We were thrilled to be named 2023's Best Outstanding Small Business and Overall Winner by the Asian Business Chambers of Commerce.
We are extremely proud of what we have achieved so far. But we believe we can reach and impact even more students, here and globally. Our long-term vision is to make tuition accessible to students from every background, to work more closely with schools, and to help build a world where there is no disparity in education.

When was A-Team Academy founded?
A-Team Academy was founded in 2015, with one tutor and a handful of students in a single room. Today we teach more than 1,000 students a year.
Where are your centres?
We teach in Birmingham, Manchester, London and live online. Our headquarters and main exam centre is at 2341 Coventry Road, Sheldon, Birmingham B26 3PN, with a second Birmingham site on Soho Road in Handsworth.
Is A-Team Academy a JCQ-approved exam centre?
Yes. A-Team Academy is a JCQ-approved private exam centre running GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-level exams for our own students and for private candidates.
